It goes without saying that my clients are at the centre of everything that happens in our sessions. The single most important thing is that you feel safe, understood and that helping you is the whole focus of my efforts.

After over 35 years living in Hong Kong, it is fair to say that the challenges that Hong Kong presents are well known to me. Likewise, many other life events that cause stress, trauma or anxiety both in work and personal lives are familiar. One of the most powerful emotions we feel when needing help is that no one could understand what I am going through. However, you can immediately feel that you are not alone when your counsellor is able to empathise with your situation and you feel safe and able to express your feelings without judgement. This is my starting point for everyone – to truly understand their issues.

You will find that I do not use many tests or assessments – only when important and relevant. I believe that you should enjoy your sessions with me and you shouldn’t come out feeling that you have just been counselled. I aim to use a soft touch of directed conversational counselling where a more complete view of the situation is gained. It is immensely important for you to know that YOU remain in charge of all decisions. I see sessions as a growth opportunity – a time when new ways of viewing problems or issues can become a useful tool for the future challenges you will face.

Relationship rebuilding and even respectful separation are difficult processes – but with the right assistance and commitment, these can be achieved. My extensive counselling history with the most challenging or personally distressing events puts me in a good place to bring perspective and positivity to the process.

Additionally, my experience at all levels of executive and management positions is vital in bringing perspective to C-suite and all other levels in deciding what future career structures will bring the desired contentment and job satisfaction sought. I pride myself in being able to provide a confidential environment for leaders to self-examine and review – something essential to making the correct decisions in the future.

It is, undoubtedly, a privilege to be able to assist so many people through challenging times, difficult decisions or transitioning to new directions. If you are facing challenges, I look forward to working with you.
